Number field corruption in MSProject file opened from xml

I have an MSProject 2007 file that was opened from a Project file
saved as xml. In the 'reconstituted' mpp two number fields that were
populated with data in the original mpp show #ERROR and cannot be
edited. This is the case for every record in the Tasks table. The
remaining number fields, which were not populated in the original mpp,
are behaving normally. Any suggestions?

Never mind - I found the problem - the fields are populated via
formula in the mpp. Evidently Save as XML does not deal with
calculated fields.
