Numbered list changes to bullets

After I create a numbered list and save the presentation,
the numbers change to bullets upon reopening. I there an
easy fix?

Hi Scott,

This is not the case on my system, numbered list are still numbered when
re-opened.

Could you give us a few more details about:
- are you opening the file from the same computer that saved it?
- your version of PowerPoint
- your system set-up (RAM, CPU speed, HDD size, network)
- has this always happened, or just started

When you reopen, are you reopening in PPT 97 or the PPT Viewer, by
chance? Those don't support the numbered bullets option. That was
introduced in PPT 2000.
