Numbers appear instead of the names in report headings

I am trying to put a report together to show meeting minutes alongside
actions and issues.
most of my selected headings appear as they should from the the linked tables
but some appear as the ID number for the row the data is in on the table.
I have no idea how to correct this as I set all of them up the same ( at
least I think I did)

any suggestions??

Further to my above post I have read that lookup fields cause my problem as
access only sees the numbers and disguises them in the form, but i have used
lookup fields else and these headings work?????, why do some work and others
do not??
