We are using Access 97 and are having a problem linking a
DB2 table. The number fields are defined as 18,3 and when
we link the table, the Access link brings the fields in as
text. In Access 2000, they link just fine, so I think
there must be some sort of limit in the length of a number
in Access 97. Numbers that are only 15,3 link into Access
97 just fine also. We have tried converting this database
to Access 2000, but there were too many problems.
