Numbers of unread emails in each box/folder

Hi all,

The numbers for how many unread messages are in my inbox
are not always accurate. If I get an email it shows up as
1, but sometimes stays after I read the email. This seems
to happen a lot in other mailboxes I have setup in
addition to my own inbox. Outlook 2000 in win2k corporate
environment.
