Is NPXLite safe to use? It apparently optimizes PowerPoint files to make
them smaller and load faster.

Any dangers or downsides? Alternatives?

NX PowerLite has been around for a long time - it's safe to use.

But as always - do the optimization on a 'copy' of your presentation
