O2003 - colouring rows that are flagged?

Good Morning!

The "new" flagging that came with Outlook 2003 continues to challenge
me and I just figured out a good workaround, if it's possible.

In Thunderbird, I found a way to colour not just the font, etc., the
way Outlook does (in Organizing), but also how to to highlight rows in
the colour of our choice. I'm hoping to duplicate that kind of colour
row highlighting in Outlook. I've looked everywhere and googled but
nothing whatsoever has come up. I don't know if it's possible to do,
perhaps it requires vb (?).

At any rate, can anyone suggest anything? Since we absolutely cannot
seem to move the flag to be displayed at the front of the rows and I
always miss them (always) in their present locked position to the far
right, then I absolutely must find an alternative. The boxes that
someone suggested as a workaround in O2010 doesn't cut it. But a
highlighted row _would_ work, even if not as simple or clutter-less
like moving the flag column to the beginning. Also, colouring the
fonts via Organizing doesn't work - already have a couple of
"conditional formatting" items in place and doing it for all the flags
just hides and confuses everything else.

Any help in this regard appreciated. Gotta lick this one once and for
all <g>.

Cheers, :eek:D

What about creating a new Search Folder, using the criteria that only
<color> flagged items should be included? Your normal Inbox and other
folders would remain untouched, but your new Search Folder would show
only your flagged items.

To start, right click on Search Folders in your Outlook 2003 folder
list and select New Search Folder...
