-> O2007: No Hyperlinks in Plain Text anymore. How to reset?

S

Steve JORDI

Hi,

I have a stupid problem using Outlook 2007.
All of a sudden, web addresses in the messages I get in plain text do
not longer display as clickable hyperlinks...

The only thing that changed was that I finally was forced to buy
Office 2007 just to be able to add tables in HTML messages I send
(no I don't use Word, Excel, etc... at all, it's just for the table
thing)

So since Word is the rendering and composing engine behing Outlook
2007, does it come with specific options disabling hyperlinks in plain
text messages???

I searched the web and found settings for junk mail, didn't help.
I found re-registering urlmon.dll. No luck
I have reset all default options in Internet Explorer 7 (which is
not my default browser, it's FireFox 3).

It runs under Vista Business 32bit SP1.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, there are special options for it but installing Office 2007 shouldn't
affect this.

The options to check are;
Tools-> Options-> Mail Format-> Editor Options-> tab AutoFormat

Here make sure the following options are selected;
-In section Replace
--Internet and network paths with hyperlinks
-In section Always AutoFormat
--Plain text e-mail documents
