-> [O2007] Notes icons? Now and then?

Hi,
I have some notes in the Notes section of Outlook 2007 that look like
a yellow PostIt with some text on it at an angle of more or less 45
degrees..
Those are the icons for notes that have been there for about a year.

Now when I create a new Note, the icon is different: plain yellow
square with no text on it, no angle and a flip side on the bottom
left.

How can I change the icon of the notes in the Notes view? I think I
checked everything.
Any idea?

Thanks for any help.

Sincerely,
Steve JORDI

Prior versions of Outlook )2002, I believe) used the first icon In Outlook
2003, the second icon you describe was introduced. Notes you have from
earlier versions of Outlook will show the old icon and new notes will show the
current icon. You can also get the old icon if you create a note on a Windows
Mobile device and sync to Outlook. I don't know any way to cause Outlook 2003
or 2007 to use the old icon deliberately, although clearly it exists within
the program's files.

Thanks Brian,

that's an interesting information.

I'll check whether I can modify the notes contents on my PDA
and then sync them back to Outlook 2007 and get other icons.

It's not a problem though as it's just a cosmetic matter,
not a production one :)
