I have a recently new workstation that came with Win2K that has all patches
and upgrades through sp4 applied. When attempting to install O2K the install
asks for Office sp4 original media, since my copy of Office is premium and
not sp4 the installation exits. Is there a fix for this? I have downloaded
and burned network versions of the software requested during install, but
no go. I suspect I'll have to roll back the machine to sp3 specs or perhaps
earlier to get the install to proceed. Is this correct? I can't have this
machine down for more than one day. Other than cloning the machine to
another unit, that I don't presently have as a temporary spare, and then
reconfiguring the original machine and installing applications at an earlier
service level I don't see any other options.
