OBDC Database Directory Error

E

Today, I attempted to open an OBDC data source to download new table
configuration. Windows 7 is defaulting to a new directory called Libraries
Documents and when I select ODBC as the file type (bottom right of Open
Files box), I get an error that says "Microsoft Office Access does not
support opening HTML pages". However, if I then change the directory to
Desktop > Allan_K > My Documents and then select OBDC it works (the Select
Data Source box opens).

Both paths contain the same files, but yet the former doesn't work. I've
tried changing the "Default database folder" to the path I want, but it
resets it back.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Allan
