NeedHelp
I have a query A that depends on another query Z. Query Z further depends on
a table S. All these work fine in Access 2003.
Now, I need to create a new set of query functions that are similar to these
combinations. So I duplicate A into B, and Z into Y, and made some minor
changes in both B and Y. So now it's supposed to work this way: B depends on
Y who depends on table S.
However, when I execute query B, it generates exactly the same results as
query A.
When I did an "Object Dependencies" on query B, I noticed that it has
dependencies on both Y and Z. But when I examined the design view of query
B, I didn't see anywhere that would require query Y.
Could anyone help on this? ie, how to go about verifying where the
dependencies reside in the queries, once the dependencies are shown by the
"Object Dependencies" function?
