Object library ~ for Visual Basic for applications not found

I get this message when I try to use Mac Excel 2004 (latest build) to
open certain files created in MS Office Excel for the PC. The files do
open on PC Excel.

Any ideas?

The PC version probably is bound to items in the windows Object library.
Look in Tools-References in the VBE to find out what's missing.
