I have a lot of pasted object from Excel to Word. How do I find out what
ActiveDocument.Shapes("Object 213").Select Object number a particular table
is?

Personally, I do not understand your question. Can you rephrase it?

While you are at it, be generous with explanations, expectations, observed
results, Word version, etc. the more you useful stuff you provide, the more
likely you will get an actually useful reply...
