object or class does not support the set of events

Access 2003 SP3 and Access 2007 on same computer.

The expression "whatever event is trying to execute" you entered as the
event property produced the following error: object or class does not support
the set of events

I get the above message for any attempt to run any code on the user's
computer. It's fine on my computer and other computers in the office.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
-- Uninstall Access 2007?
-- Install the SP3 Hotfix
-- reinstall Office 2003 WITHOUT the SP3
-- some other combination of fixes
-- magic incantation

I can't remove all of Office 2007 SP1, although I am tempted.

Still sounds like limited priveliges John
Are you operating as a limited user? Or as a computer administrator?

Still don't know the cause, but uninstalling Access 2007 seems to have solved
the problem.

The IT group uninstalled Access 2007 (left the rest of Office 2007 on the
computer) and now the databases are working.

Eventually, we will probably shift away from Access 2003, but there are a
couple of databases that may require extensive modifications. For instance,
one uses Stephen Lebans' rich text (RTF) solution. I'm not sure I will be
able to use that RTF solution in 2007 and may need to use the "native" RTF
solution.n
