Object reference not set to an instance -error

When I click on the Tools, Programming, Visual Studio Tools for Applications
menu, I get an "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object " error
message. Clicking the ok button makes it go away, but I don' know what the
consquences of this error are or how to eliminate it. I have already repaired
office 2007, but that did not have any affect.

Are you sure whether you have installed ".Net Programmability Support"
while installing InfoPath?
