Kalyan,

Thank you for your tip. I will try to remove the blocked file type from the
list. But what i find strange is that i do not use a ACT database at all! I
only use webservices to get data out of my databases. It looks to me it has
something to do with a timeout for a dataconnection or something!? anyone
more tips please!?

Hi Eric,

I also faced the same issue sometime back. No one has exact
resolution to this problem. On one of the blog, I read that Microsoft
will release the hotfix for this issue in 2nd half of Feb 2008, but no
concrete updates to confirm this.

However, to resolve this problem, I got following pointers from one of
the InfoPath gurus which you can also try:

1) Throttle logging (on the Operations page of the Central
Administration site) to the most descriptive level and then check the
ULS logs to see if there's more information in the logs at
"%commonprogramfiles%\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS".

2 Check the "Manage Form Templates" page in the Central Administration
site to make sure there's no issue with previously uploaded versions
of the form template. If issues are reported in the status column,
you can try executing "stsadm.exe -o execadmsvcjobs" at the command
prompt on the server to resolve them.

3 Remove previous versions of the form template from the server prior
to attempting upload.

Do let me know if this helps :)

Thanks,
Paresh

I deactivated and removed all my earlier versions of form templates
from the Central Administration site and uploaded the latest template
to get rid of the issue.

Thanks,

YIPPY,

I've got the explanation of my problem. I owe you all for the good tips i
got, Thank you...

The solution to my problem was that i was trying to upload the form with a
"administrator" user, and not the user who installed SharePoint. I find it
verry strange but it seems it was a security problem.... Maybe a securuty
problem querying a webservice, i don't know for sure. But logging in to
remote desktop with the user who installed sharepoint did the trick!

Yes I did,

After all this, the organization I work for decided to rush the "premium
support contract" the wish to have with MS, this so I could use the support.
After explaining the error to a technician with Microsoft there was the
delivering answer that it was a bug! MS uses data connections and as the
form grows and grows the time-out of this connections comes more in sight.
They forgot to suspend to timeout to a timely fashion. There is a hot-fix
for this issue available with Microsoft!!! BUT: this hot fix is PRE-sp1
compatible so NOT suitable for MOSS sp1 implementations... This version of
the Hot-fix is now with the test department and will be coming out soon (i
hope).

Hope this post will help people with same problem.

Kind regards,
Eric
