Object size change on File Save

Colleagues,
When an Excel object is Paste Special Link'ed into a PowerPoint slide, it
fills the page nicely. However, when I File Save PowerPoint, the size of the
object changes and becomes smaller. What a pain! I do not think the object
goes off the PP page. Is it possible to prevent this?

All constructive suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
