Object that is closed or doesn't exist error

Hi,

I can successfully import a spreadsheet into an existing
database and creat a new table But cannot import data -
same spreadsheet -only completed- into the same table but
am getting the error message: 'The expression you entered
refers to an object that is closed or doesn't exist'.

I have performed this task many times with different
sheets in the same spreadsheet & this is the 1st time I
have got this message - i have also tried the same
procedure on a copy of the database and on another PC.
Same error message. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
