Objects showing when printing or previewing

I have a custom template and when I go to preview and/or print there are 2
small boxes that show on the middle of the slide, far right hand side. I
have tried to determine how they got there and delete, but cannot find them.

Are you printing in B&W, maybe there are shapes with a background colour fill?

Try repeatedly pressing TAB on the master and see if you can see (and then
delete) the shapes or try view > color greyscale > pure B&W.

Try go to the slide master and hitting the TAB key until one of the objects
is selected. Then you can delete it if you like.
