OCR failure Document Imaging Office 2007 tools

I used the Office 2003 Document Imaging OCR feature all the time. I can't get
it to work at all with Office 2007. The error message says there is no text
content in my image document (scanned-in TIFF just like always) - but there
is!

Any ideas?
