ocx referenced in access: where used?

I am transferring an access2007-mdb-database to a new windows7-system.
I get the error message: mscomct2.ocx is missing.
As this ocx is rather old, I want to replace it, but how to do that?
1. How can I find our where a referenced ocx or dll is used?
2. I think that it contains code for updown-controls; is there a more recent
replacement for this functionality?
