ODBC link to MSP tables

Is there a method to create an ODBC link (I'm hoping with a DSN) to an MSP
file that is not Project Server? We're using version 10 (2002).

Yes.

In Project explore file, saveas and then click the ODBC button. Note that
this functionality has gone in Project 2007.

I want to link to the MSP tables from access, rather than having the physical
data reside in Access, a la linked tables

You can link to database fields, but there are various ways of writing code
to read/write all fields in a table.
