ODBC Problem

I am attempting to link a table from a SQL Server database to an Access 2003
frontend. WHen the dialog box requesting the file type pops up, I select ODBC
and then it closes and nothing further happens.

I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 with Access 2003 SP3. This is a
recent installation and I've done all the up[dates. This is the first time
trying to link to t table on this machine.

I've done this hundreds of times on other computers. Am I missing something
or is there a patch to fix this?

Thanks.

If you have Norton antivirus installed, disable the office plugin and link to
the sql server table. Make sure you enable the office plugin again.
