ODC Cost changing in MS Project 2007...

MS Project File/record locking?

My "Cost"-type resource for ODC expenses for a manufacturing project are
assigned to a project length LOE task. How can I prevent the timephased cost
data from changing dates or totals? ("nail it down" without impacting the
project tasks?)
