Odd error when replying to e-mails

B

BDole

Everytime I try to reply to an e-mail I get I am getting the following error
and I can't figure out for the life of me why...

The Add-In "FaxExtension" (C:\Windows\System32\fxsexr32.dll) cannot be
loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in
manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the
Add-in.

I am trying to reply to an e-mail via e-mail, not Fax. I don't get it. I
figured I would throw this out there and see if anyone has run into a
similar problem

Thanks Gang!

LOL
I see what you mean...By the end of that thread though, the dude who was
having the same problem I was having has not resolved the issue yet. I
tried the suggestions they made and they did work. Thanks for the reply
though.
Any other suggestions?

For assistance with this error message you must post your Outlook version
and the transports configured for the Outlook profile throwing the error.
You should also post the changes you made to your system that produced the
error.

1. Outlook version is 12.0.6212.1000 Office 2007 Professional w/ all updates
possible applied)
2. What the hell is a transport
3. I didn't make any changes to the system to produce the error...Could you
give me an example?

Thanks

Sorry I e-mailed you...meant to reply to the thread,

That was one of the first things I check... No reference to fxsexr32.dll.
No reference to Faxes of any kind in ANY of the add-ins. That is why I find
this so baffling.

Then just disable the Fax Extensions in the Add-in Manager.

Whoops. Found them. Still getting used to tweaking 2007.
Russ, Chris. Thanks a lot

There must be at least in the registry! Check the keys manually (do not
use the search function [see the posting of the other user]).
