odd page break

I want to replace an section break (odd page) with a "normal" section break
but every time I do this - it reverts back to an odd page section break - any
ideas?

Don't try to do it by swapping out (deleting and replacing) the break. If it
can be done, you can do it from the Layout tab of Page Setup (change the
section start type). But some printers may lean heavily on Word not to allow
portrait and landscape pages on the same sheet (front and back), so if this
is part of the issue, you may not be successful.
