OE 6.0 hanging up when clicking on website listed in email

Each time I click on a web address that someone sends me in an email, Outlook
Express stops working and takes FOREVER to bring up Internet Explorer and go
to that site (if it loads at all). I have Norton Internet Security 2003
installed and am running XP. I'm also having trouble staying connected to
the internet (cable modem - Motorola SB4200). The modem says all is fine but
I can't connect. The weird thing is that I can just log off and log back on
and it reconnects.

This is driving me BATTY! Can anyone help?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest that you download, install, update, and scan with
