OE denied access to this unafe attachment

Recently downloaded several new updates and am now
receiving above message on several emails with
attachments. Does anyone know what is causing this or
which update I can delete to get rid of this feature?

I don't know which update it was, but it is a security feature, intended to
block receiving executable (thus, "dangerous") attachments. You should be
able to sneak them through by ZIPping before sending. As you didn't say
whether this was in Outlook or in Outlook Express, I don't know to which
newsgroup I chould refer you, but, just FYI, this one is devoted to
Microsoft Access database software and isn't the best place to get Outlook
or OE answers.
