OE Running Constantly

Is there a way to keep OE running constantly, without having it on the task
bar ... or do you have to keep it open to keep it running? when I close
it, it does not tell me that I have new mail... only when I keep it open
does it do that... I have changed the setting, and I still can't get it to
do it... does anybody have any ideas?

thanks

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup. (Hint: it can't receive mail if it's
not running.)

There is nothing built-in to OE that will allow you minimize it the system
tray (area next to clock). So it will always have to stay running unless
you decide to give 3rd party solutions a go.
