Once in a blue moon, I will reply to a mailing list message, only to
have the reply rejected by the server because the reply was sent under
another of my email addresses.
Specifically, I have 4 email accounts. My default account in OE has
[email protected] as the return address. Sometimes, I'll reply to an
email from the ToPL mailing list (where I'm subscribed as
[email protected]), but not notice that, in the New Message window's
"From" dropdown menu, the address used will be [email protected], not
[email protected].
This happened again today. I did a search on the source of the email I
was replying to, and there is no reference to "kpuc" anywhere. The
message was sent to [email protected], the blaqzone.com account is set
as OE's default mail account, yet OE made me reply to the message using
my kpuc.org address.
There seems to be no pattern to this bug. What could be the cause and,
more importantly, the solution? Thanks for your help.
