Hello Alan,
Per you question, you may only configure a 'master' MSDE on client site
which replicates with HQ server. All other client ADP only uses this master
MSDE as if it is the server in HQ.
You may consider transactional r merged replication according to the
feature of the database you want. All the objects have the same copy in
both HQ and client site. Please refer to "Merge Replication or Updatable
Subscriptions" in SQL Books Online for more details.
