Offce Home and Student 2007 reinstall

I am using Vista as my OS and Office Home & Student 2007.
PowerPoint has become corrupted in extensions and no matter what I try I
cannot re-associate.
Do I have to de-install all of H&S and then re-install it all or can I just
do PPT?
Any hints or caveats before I do this process?

Back up a step. What do you mean by "has become corrupted in extensions"?
What have you tried? Need details.

I would first try running Office Diagnostics. Open PPT, go to PPT Options
and then to Resources. Run Diagnostics from there. That *may* take care of
it.

Otherwise, what have you tried to fix the extensions?
