Offcie 2000 Word corruption problem

I cannot remove a typed paragraph from my blank normal
word document. Even after reinstalling my typed paragraphs
appears when opening new document.

How do I create a clean new bland word document.

It sounds like this para is actually stored in the template normal.dot.

Open that, delete the offending paragraph, and then resave normal.dot.
