I am using Office 2003 on a computer that has XP as the O/S. This is a
business machine ( a Dell GX620) on a network of approx. 1000 users.
Whenever I open Word, Excel or any other Office application, the applicatin
will close completely without warning. It does not save a copy I have to
start over each time.
This was affecting my Outlook until I disabled using Word as my email
editor. Now Outlook works fine.
I have done some research and found an article that speaks of the Normal.dot
being corrupt. I named the Normal.dot to Normal.old and let Office recreate a
new Normal.dot template. This did not solve the problem.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
