Office 07 Word :repair "blank.doc"

Running Office 2007 on a Vista computer... on opening word the blank templete
has been changed. I don't know my way around Vista yet to find and fix this.

First close Word.

Open the Computer icon on the desktop or the Computer item in the
Start menu. In the file path box at the top, paste this in and hit
Enter:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates

You should see the Normal.dotm file there. If you don't have any
customizations that you want to save, just delete the file. If you do
want to try to keep anything from the old file, move it to a different
folder.

Now restart Word.

i got your message tried it and it worked! had been constantly getting the
same old document every time i opened word.
