Office 12: Encryption Provider add-in registry help

Hi,

I've downloaded the 2007 Office System Starter Kit: Enterprise Content
Management Starter Kit, and have been trying to get the sample
EncryptionProvider addin installed.

In the Office "12" Encryption and Rights Management Developers Guide, it
specifies that:

"Office automatically exposes whatever add-in is indicated by the registry
key [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\Security\OpenXMLEncryption]
which, for Beta 2, contains the hex data of a CLASSID as represented by
WCHARs for the encryption provider to use."

I've tried to playing around, tried formatting the value of the CLSID of the
add-in in a number of different ways, and I still can't figure out what
format Office 12 is expecting the registry value to be in.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

In case this helps anyone else, I discovered that there is a Beta 2 Technical
Refresh that was released. With the Beta 2 Technical Refresh, Microsoft
Office now expects the CLSID in the standard string format.
