I'm not clear how to set general defaults using the new UI. E.g. page size,
font settings, bullet formats, etc.

You need to use the Send a Smile option to report back information to the
Office Beta Team, not the generic suggestion form on Office.

See this page for details -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...E2-BC0F-4403-B09F-7A677D55F274&displaylang=en

The reports using this tool go directly to the beta team and do not have to
filter through the Office program team.

Hi Steve,

In Word 2007, the settings that were in File=>Page Setup are, in Word 2007 in Page Layout=>Page Setup. The Word 2003 style dialog
can be set using the 'launcher' button on the bottom right of the Page Setup group.

Format=>Styles is on Home=>Styles (You can use, in both versions, Styles to attach numbering and bullet formats)

On Home=>Paragraph click the dropdown arrow on the bullet or numbering icons to define or choose bullet/numbering.

As Millie mentioned, send your feedback on what you find it difficult to locate and what you find easier to use using the 2007
feedback tool.
