I have Office professional 2000 installed on my home computer which is XP, on
my laptop I have office home 2007, I would like to put it on my home pc, but
I am not sure how to go about it. Do I uninstall Office Professional 2000 and
then install the 2007, need help?

Did the Home and Student 2007 come pre-installed? If so you can't do what
you want. If you paid for it separately, then yes you can.
It's probably a good idea to uninstall 2000 first...

Is 2007 a retail version you purchased, or was it supplied with your Laptop?
If the latter its an OEM version and is forever tied to the Laptop & not
transferable

And the easiest way to determine if this is a retail or OEM version is to
look in the lower right corner of the Authenticity key code label (the one
with the 25 character activation code.) If it has the three characters FPP
then that is a retail version and can be installed onto a licensed device
and also a portable device for use by the single primary user of the
licensed device.

If it says OEM or MLK then this is a single use license and can not be
installed on a second computer even if the first computer dies.
