Office 2000 Applications

Some Office 2000 applications have 'Microsoft ...' then the name of the
application eg PowerPoint then the file name. Is there any way of hiding the
'Microsoft PowerPoint' and just show the file name? I am using Windows XP.

Many thanks in advance.

Sorry I should mention I am talking about the bar at the very top of the
screen.

Thank you JoAnn

I should really have explained. I do presentations with PowerPoint 2000
having sometimes 5 or 6 PowerPoint applications open at one time. So looking
at the task bar at the bottom of the screen I have 5 or 6 PowerPoint
applications showing, but can't see the file name because of the 'Microsoft
'bit. So I am looking to name the 5 or 6 PowerPoint applications starting 01
- , 02 - etc so at a glance I can see which number PowerPoint file is which.
Hope this makes sense.

Why don't you want that part of the name showing? (Just curious)

It makes sense and I can see where that would come in handy. I wouldn't know
how to do that tho. It may be a Registry thing or it may just be coded into
the program. Hopefully someone will be able to give you a definitive answer.
