Office 2000 compatability with Outlook 2003

Does anyone have any experience with installing Office 2000 and Outlook 2003
on an XP workstation?

Word as the email editor and wordmail envelope functions won't work (the
email button on word and excel toolbars), but it works ok otherwise.

Does anyone have any experience with installing Office 2000 and Outlook
