I am receiving the following message in the event log:
The Microsoft Search service terminated the filter daemon
because it was consuming too many resources; a new daemon
will automatically be started and no user action is
required. (Event 3078). The pc has been slowing to a
crawl. The PC is running NT and has about 1 GB free of an
8 GB drive.
Also, when looking in C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office Search
Services\IndexingService\Projects there are 2000MB with
the.GTHR extension. What are these?
