office 2000 gif animations

HI,

I am using Word 2000 and Front PAge 2000 and cannot get animated gifs to
work. How can i change this or what am i doing wrong? Any help will be
appreciated.

Forgive me if I am stating the obvious but are you in slide show mode and
not in edit mode. The gif will not animate if in edit mode. Also did you
insert the gif using Insert - picture - from file and not insert movie from
file.

Damn, automatically assumed PowerPoint was envolved, turns out it was Word,
really need some glasses.
