Office 2000 Install on non-TS 2000 Server

I have vendor coming to install some software. As part of
the environment, the vendor would like to install Office
2000 on a non terminal server Windows 2000 server. I
recently read an article for MS that said that this is not
a reccommended approach. Can anyone hwlp me? Is this
configuration supported? Has anyone seen articles related
to this. I have searched the support db pretty well and
can not find the doc I found a few months ago. Help, and
thanks in advance.
