This may be a computer problem and not a software one but
here goes.
I recently had to upgrade to XP thus losing all my
installed software. I am now trying to reload Office 2000
but when I put in the disk it tries to start but won't.
The "Preparing to Install" window comes up then goes away
like it should. Then a header only window
titled "Microsoft Office 2000" comes up but won't open.
It never becomes more than just a small header. When I
try to close it, it goes to a "stop install" page that
won't close. I have to use the task manager to stop it.
Please somebody help.
