Office 2000 mailmerge from Excel to Word

I am using Word to mailmerge data from an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet
is quite large, A1 to BB2467.

Mostly when mailmerging, everything is fine, but I have 3 records which do
not merge properly. The data in one field is taken from the cell above. Since
installing Service Pack 3, it now ignores the data altogether and gives a
blank entry in the Word document!

I use Office 2003 at home and took the data home to see if the problem would
replicate itself, but it worked fine. I have tried various options to over
the problem, but to no avail.

Please can anyone help me?
