Office 2000 Pro SR-1 SP3 update

I run into an error message that tells me that I need to
have installer 2.0 installed to install this update. But
I do have Installer 2.0 installed. The PC will not let me
reinstall the Installer 2.0. PC is running Windows 2000
Pro SP3. PLEASE HELP!!!!
