Office 2000 Pro - Update Patch 3

confused

I have downloaded and installed patch 1a, and then found
I was advised to also dowload and install patch 3,
however, when ask to put CD in the install prog could not
detect the file I wanted (Word 2000), and I could not
locate manually, so have had to abandon the process.
This has happened twice. Can anyone help?
