Hi,

We have a couple of Windows 2000 Terminal Servers that run CITRIX and i

need to uninstall Office 2000 Pro and install Office XP pro.

Only problem is that i get a message every time i try to uninstall
asking me to download the Office 2000 Resource Kit.

I have been looking for this for AGES and i cant find what i think i
need... i thought it would be a patch i would install and away you
go?!?!? Please, please, PLEASE could someone help and tell me what file

i need to download and tell me where to get it from its driving me
bonkers!

Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Matt,

The MS Office Resource Kit (ORK) for Office 2000 is located at
http://microsoft.com/office/ork/2000
For installing on Terminal Server/Services for Office 2000 you'll
need to use the TermSrv.MST file in the toolbox/downloads area of ORK2000.

Not sure why you'd be seeing that message if you're uninstalling Office 2000 that has been running on Terminal Servers.

Only Office 2000 required the special MST. Office XP works more 'normally' for an MS Installer installation transform package.
