My attempts at MS Office 2000 Service Pack 3 download & installation have

When you say they've failed, how so? Are you receiving an error message?
What are the symptoms?

after downloading, the Office Update Installation Wizard message read:
" Installation Result - check below to see if updates installed successfully
! Installation Unsuccessful
*Office 2000 Service Pack 3 - English Version
*Office 2000 Service Pack 3 for Office 2000 SR-1 Disk 2 & Pblisher 2000
SR-1 - English Version"

Susan,
if you do not mind, may I jump in with a similar problem of mine? I too,
attempted to install Sp3Lpk.exe file for Office 2000, but got message
"Office 200 Service Pack 3 for Multilanguage Pack. The expected version of
the product was not found on your system". What's wrong? What should I do to
get it installed?
